TEHRAN - A senior cleric says the news about the unity of principlist groups seem to be promising.

Hojjatoleslam Reza Taqavi made the remarks as he announced that the Principlists Unification Council is going to hold an Iftar ceremony.
The chief of the Combatant Clergy Association said the council has planned holding the ceremony as a move to boost solidarity with other principlist groups.

However, he said no exact date has been set for the occasion.
